ABSTRACT
Osteoma cutis is a rare disease characterized by the formation of bone tissue in the dermis. The etiology is unknown, the treatment is controversial and the disease may correspond to a complication of inflammatory acne in women over 30 years. Osteoma cutis presents as normochromic papules and has no specific treatment. A case of a female patient aged 64 years who developed osteoma cutis after 40 years of treatment with tetracycline for acne is reported.
