Bioethics and refractory epilepsy

ABSTRACT
A review of aspects related to the emergence and development of bioethics is performed. Historical background, epidemiology, clinical manifestations and multifactorial management of refractory epilepsy are reviewed, too. The bioethical dilemmas of this disease are discussed.
