ABSTRACT
Laugier-Hunziker syndrome is an uncommon benign pathology characterized by hyperpigmentation of the oral mucosa, lips and acral region, often associated with longitudinal melanonychia. Its importance lies in being differential diagnosis of several diseases of oral hyperpigmentation, especially the Peutz-Jeghers syndrome.
