ABSTRACT

Fibromyalgia is a frequently reported disease. Its presence affects principally women in productive at ages. This disease also limits daily activities and impacts the quality of life. To the date little is known about diverse etiologic aspects of the disease even though it been suggested that an early diagnosis may benefit the affected population. To provide useful therapeutic strategies that may alleviate pain in these patients a wide variety of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic schemes had been proposed.
