ABSTRACT
Introduction: the strategy of Integrated Care to Prevailing Diseases at Childhood makes it possible to address the main health problems of boys and girls and the ENSI network plays an important role in its implementation.Objective: to design course on integrated care to prevailing diseases at childhood for nursing professionals who will fulfill cooperation tasks or internationalist mission.
Methods: a developing descriptive research work was conducted in which the theoretical and empirical methods were used. A survey on AIEPI teaching was applied together with expert consultation, documentary and literature reviews.
Results: a 120-hour postgraduate course was designed, which is supported on the initiative of AIEPI training for the Americas region.
Conclusions: the suggested course as an organizational form of professional upgrading contributes to the preparation of nursing professionals who will fulfill internationalist mission tasks, about child health surveillance in the countries of the area.
