ABSTRACT
In the constant study of occupational diseases, we propose to focus on the possibility of an occupational origin when the Paget- Schroetter condition is present. The literature suggests that primary deep vein thrombosis in the upper extremities is not caused by an underlying disorder concomitant with hyper-coagulation but is rather related to trauma, efforts and forcedpositions. Concluding that although it is a rare condition, it is potentially dangerous and its relationship to the work environment must be sought in order to detect the disease in time and take opportune and appropriate corrective actions.REFERENCES
