Tropical Pyomyositis vs Leptospirosis

ABSTRACT
Pyomyositis is an acute bacterial infection or subacute skeletal muscle characterized
by intramuscular formation of one or more abscess. A patient with leptospirosissuspected
clinical condition is presented here. During the course of his hospitalization,
he is diagnosed with tropical pyomyositis. Patient outcomes, studies and treatment
prescribed by specialists are described.
