ABSTRACT
Traumatic situations lived at an early age will disorganize an individual’s world, will lead to confusion and cause permanent damage. The traumatic event imposes itself while the sense we give to it will depend entirely on our history. We can speak of traumatic events for a child since they tear and dismantle their internal world. It is not known what sense will be attributed to the traumatic event. It will have to be, as much as possible, a representation of images and words what will reconfigure a new world and recreate another vision of the events. An extremely serious case of a child trauma will be analysed with the initial idea to reflect upon his childhood and later his adolescence while trying to give sense to his life after the trauma. This reflection will force us to ponder on of all the possible options he will face in his future life. The Freudian concept of trauma will be addressed; a clarification of the resilience and sublimation phenomena is given, as possible means which will enable an individual to find new opportunities in his future life.REFERENCES
