ABSTRACT
The three-dimensional real-time transesophageal echocardiography has allowed to better visualize and evaluate prosthetic valves and the complications associated with them. This work presents a patient with prosthetic mitral valve dysfunction and severe tricuspid regurgitation in whom the echocardiogram proved to be very useful as a guide for diagnosis and treatment decisions.
