Tratamiento quirúrgico del embolismo pulmonar agudo con trombo en tránsito

RESUMEN
El tratamiento del embolismo pulmonar con presencia de un trombo móvil o en tránsito en el corazón derecho no se encuentra estandarizado. La presencia de un trombo en tránsito es una condición poco frecuente que conlleva una tasa elevada de mortalidad. Los tratamientos actuales son la terapia trombolítica y la embolectomía quirúrgica o percutánea. El caso que presentamos muestra el éxito del tratamiento de embolectomía quirúrgica.
