ABSTRACT
Perifollicular fibromas, fibrofolliculomas and trichodiscomas are benign tumors of the hair follicle. We report the case of a 40-year-old man with spontaneous pneumothorax and multiple fibrofolliculomas (Birt-Hogg-Dube syndrome), and we discuss if these tumors could be histologic variations of a single lesion caused by interpretation of different sectioning planes.
