ABSTRACT
Anemia during the neonatal period is a disorder for diagnosis is dependent on the gestational age of newborn and their hours and days after birth because during this period and subsequent months produced significant change in red cell mass. The etiology of neonatal anemia can be divided into three groups: a) for loos of blood, b) hemolysis, and c) decreased production of red blood cells. We report a case of neonatal anemia blood loss secondary to chronic maternal fetal transfusion, strengthened by the Kleihauer-Betke stain for fetal cells in maternal blood and extension.REFERENCES
