Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) and Its Link with the Skin

ABSTRACT

In case of chronic hepatitis it is accepted that the most common cause of this ailment is the infection provoked by the hepatitis C virus (hcv), which is acquired by parenteral exposures or sexual transmission. The ailment can be accompanied by many extrahepatic manifestations, of which the ones involving the skin stand out, an important organ as it is where the virus can enter, and be a place for viral replication or appear in several clinical manifestations in presence of the hcv.
