ABSTRACT
52 year-old woman, that was seen for presenting acute cutaneous necrosis, secondary to a pseudoaneurysm
that was formed weeks after a cardiac catheterization with femoral access, for the study of coronary disease.
The factors that favored this event were obesity, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and the use of fibrinolytic
therapy (streptodornase and streptokinase). She had late dermatological manifestations. The diverse
therapeutics allowed the patient to recover full cutaneous and vascular function, although she was hospitalized
for a prolonged time. This represents a new modality that this new century dermatologist will have to
attend as a part of a multidisciplinary medical group.
