ABSTRACT

Erythema elevatum diutinum is an uncommon disease characterized by a leucocytoclastic vasculitis in early stages and later by a fibrosant dermatitis. The clinical pattern shows a symmetric and bilateral distribution with erythematous and/or violaceus or brown hues nodules and patches in extensor limbs surfaces. Erythema elevatum diutinum can be an isolated dermatological condition or associated with a wide range of hematologic, infectious, rheumatologic or oncologic conditions.
