ABSTRACT
Factitious dermatitis is a self-induced psicocutaneous disorder,
in which the patient denies any self-injuring. Treatment must
include the dermatologist and the psychiatrist. We report a
17 year old patient with factitious dermatitis, major depressive
disorder (MDD), and borderline personality. A review of the
literature is included.
