ABSTRACT
Violence is an increasing problem of public health as the increases in the death rates, morbility and discapacidad demonstrate it. We intend to describe this aspect in St. Rosa's woman of Copan, Honduras, for which a descriptive, retrospective investigation accomplished 2007 itself all year round. The universe was integrated by 302 women that called on to Atención's Office the Woman at that municipality and gave your consent informed of taking part in investigation. The same were applied a questionnaire for staff previously trained, that you gather different variables. The violence in 25-29's women predominated years, appropriate of the rural area, with a school primary level. The bigger incidence was in the physical violence manifested by the aggression with hands or other objects. St. Rosa's woman of Copan is once the macho own tendency was submitted of a patriarchal society that subjects the woman, considering Its inferior, executing the physical violence like principal form of attacking her.
