ABSTRACT
Osteosarcoma is the most frequent oseous tumor in
childhood. 30 years ago, all patients were submitted to
amputation. Recently, the use of neoadyuvant
chemotherapy had changed the prognosis for patients
with this tumor; giving them the opportunity to save the
limb and life. The use of intraarterial (IA) chemotherapy
is even better than the intravenous (IV) route. The purpose
of this report is to present our experience wiht IA
chemotherapy and the evaluation of the response with
arteriography.
