ABSTRACT
Exposure to noise at the workplace can influence in the health problems of the workers. To know the exposure levels to noise to each worker contributes to the development of methods to combat and to control the noise. The present work has as main objective the determination of the risk of suffering hearing loss at the workplaces of the workers of the electric power station of Ciego de Ávila during the process of electric generation. Measuring of the acoustic level (LpA)were carried out to each worker subjected during the labor day using a noise meter category type 2 to calculate the describers equivalent level of the day, level equivalent dairy (Leqdairy) and the maximum time of exposure for Leqdairy. The result was the determination of the grade of risk for each worker. The conclusion was that 95,3 % of the workers are in risk of suffering hearing loss at their workplaces.REFERENCES
