ABSTRACT
Disseminated peritoneal leiomyomatosis (LPD) or diffuse abdominal leiomyomatosis is a rare benign condition of uncertain etiology, which occurs frequently in reproductive age between the third and fourth decades, especially during pregnancy or in women with oral contraception. Herein is presented the case of a 40-year-old woman with disseminated peritoneal leiomyomatosis spread entirely on the omentum and mesentery.
