Behavior analysis of the daily chiropractic consultation by a university clinic of integral medicine Ocoyoacac, Mexico, 2012-2014

ABSTRACT
The behavior of daily consultation of a integral university clinic was analyzed. Systematized information
of 15 variables from 350 clinical records of a total of 2000 (17.5 % ) where taken as a convenient sample,
the clinic is located at the town state of México Ocoyoacac, its area of influence covers the valley of
Toluca. Chiropractic consultations were granted between the years 2012 and 2014. The objective was to
determine the most frequent chiropractic consultation cause. For that matter the following parameters
were assessed: age, gender, occupation, place of origin, international diseases classification (CIE 10) and chiropractic diagnosis, chiropractic treatment used in every patient, clinical chiropractic evaluation
was registered. The results of this study indicate five main reasons for chiropractic consultation: The lower
back pain was in the first place, followed by the cervical vertebral subluxation complex, cervical pain,
dorsal pain was next then shoulder pain. The most common chiropractic diagnoses were: in the first place
unspecific low back pain, in the second place was neck pain, the vertebral subluxation complex, back
pain and unspecific shoulder pain.
