ABSTRACT
Laryngotracheobronchomalacia is an unusual congenital airway malformation. We present the case of a full-term
newborn female patient with normal evolution, no important records, born through vaginal way, dystocic presenting
breathing failure at birth with a Silverman score of 4 with expiratory laryngeal stridor. In the neonatal intensive care
unit she is diagnosed with Laryngotracheobronchomalacia and it is managed with intermittent continuous positive
airway pressure having a favorable evolution.
