ABSTRACT
Kniest syndrome is not a frequent affection in our environment. In our bibliographic research, benefits in respiratory physiotherapy were commonly reported. In the present paper a case admitted in the National Rehabilitating Center Julio Diaz is described. The patient was diagnosed with Kniest syndrome who was assessed by the rehabilitating respiratory service through physical exam and a study of lung functioning. A program of respiratory rehabilitation of 30 sessions was established twice a day each of hour duration. After a 30 days period the parameters were assessed and clinical and functional recovery was observed.
