ABSTRACT
The amount of tumor angiogenesis is a histological marker of high-grade neoplasia; it is currently possible to evaluate the amount of tumor vascularity with quantitative functional technique such as perfusion, including the mean relative cerebral blood volume by magnetic resonance; the amount of tumor vascularity is related with the histological findings in high-grade gliomas like glioblastoma multiforme; however, the pathological analysis are still the parameters in predicting the neoplastic behavior.
