ABSTRACT
The present paper, "Social need of a correct language preparation in English of the students from the clinical cycle of the medicine career", deals with significant elements in relation to the process of social communication of a correct language preparation in English for medical purposes in the fifth year students of English language medical career. In this work it is carried out an analysis on the basis of the contradictions of the current program of English discipline and its relation to the language formation in English language of the students who attend the fifth year of medicine career and there are also identified the main contradictions that appear in this process. From which a social problem emerges and it is expressed through limitations in the development of the communicative process of English for medical purposes that fifth year medical students present and go to the detriment of a high and full service of health that we expect to obtained in their future professional performance. It is also characterized the process of language formation in the fifth year of the medical career and there are evidenced the mistakes that it presents. It is performed a revision to the plan of study of the career to know what is the contribution of the aforementioned discipline in the process of formation of the doctors in their professional problems, work, modes and spheres of action, what justifies the social need of its study. This problem has epistemological, cultural, ethical and scientific contradictions which confirm the need for their research. Investigations related to the topic do not declare the importance of the social dimension of communication in English language formation for medical purposes what constitutes the fundamental scientific contribution.REFERENCES
