ABSTRACT
The course of Biochemistry, as it is included in the curriculum of the Degree of Health Technologies, is taught as one of the Basic Sciences of the new pedagogic model for the formation of health technologist. Learning process of this course requires teaching resources that spark the interest of the student and ease self-study. Design, development and introduction of a teaching multimedia allowing the visualization of the complex processes this science describes might serve to widen the access to contents to be learned, and hence, an effective self-assessment. Implementation of the developed multimedia by means of an experimental assay resulted in a higher academic performance. New Informatics and Communications Technologies can become valuable tools for visual and audio display of complex contents for health technologists in the making, and thus, the development of to-do, know-what-to-do and to-create, required for the future performance of the technologist.REFERENCES
