ABSTRACT
Sepsis is a common pathology in internal medicine, which has been
increased gradually in recent years. In Mexico there are 40,957 cases
per year with mortality of 30%; so it is paramount the adequate control
of patients with sepsis. This paper presents a systematic review of
sepsis with general concepts that allow us to reach early and adequate
diagnosis of sepsis and its complications, as well as the management
currently recommended.
