ABSTRACT
Patients with a first primary melanoma are known to have an increased risk of being diagnosed with another primary
melanoma. We present the case of a 42-year-old male patient with multiple primary melanoma who was admitted to the
dermatology department at the general hospital “Dr Manuel Gea González” in Mexico City. Incidence, risk factors and
prognosis are discussed in this review.
