El resveratrol y sus posibles usos como nueva terapia farmacológica

ABSTRACT
Muchos estudios recientes han
reportado efectos benéficos
prometedores del consumo de
vino tinto. Los polifenoles en él
poseen efectos protectores sobre
diversos sistemas corporales.
Esta revisión pretende analizar
los efectos anticancerígenos,
protectores cardiovasculares,
neuroprotectores, antidiabéticos y
antienvejecimiento que han sido
descubiertos hasta el momento.
Se necesitan más estudios
que describan los precisos
mecanismos moleculares de estos
potenciales efectos benéficos
del vino tinto en la salud de la
población, ya que se trata de una
alternativa prometedora y con
pocas reacciones adversas.
