Dupuytren's disease in an elderly

ABSTRACT
The case report of a 78-year-old Haitian merchant is described, who had stifness to
flex the proximal and medial interphalangeal joint of the left hand fourth finger for
seven months, contracture of the palmar fascia and nodules. He underwent partial or
subtotal fasciectomy and was discharged within 72 hours with good postoperative
course.
