ABSTRACT
In this article we pretend to include the most relevant aspects of the history of asthma, since the ancient registries to the newest proposals of treatment, passing through the ancient civilizations, the discovery of this entity and its physiopathology, the pioneers on the field of the pharmacologic treatment and the new challenges.
