RESUMEN
En este articulo se pretende abarcar los aspectos más importantes de la historia del asma, desde sus registros más antiguos hasta las nuevas propuestas de tratamiento, pasando por las antiguas civilizaciones, el descubrimiento de la entidad y su fisiopatología, los pioneros en el campo del tratamiento farmacológico y los retos más actuales.
