ABSTRACT
Background: The hydroxyapatite implants and transplant of stem cells, is an alternative of treatment of new generation which has been showed goods results in the treatment of along kind of pathologies.1 In the last years this kind of treatment has been a development and useful, multicenter studies has been made around the world showed that the use of stem cell transplants and hydroxyapatite inserts has good resume for the treatment of many kinds of traumatic injuries. Analyzing the kind of lesion and use of therapies patients could show a big destruction of the bone tissues and few options let for treatment. Before the analysis of world literature, we have coming to conclusion that some of this news techniques use in treatment of many kinds of pathologies in the skeletal system could have a better on going in treatment use these alternatives.
Materials and methods: Was study 10 patients were treated with autologous bone graft, hidroxiapatite and stem cells, with a following for demonstrate a clinical improvement.
Results: 90% of patients had a clinical improvement without complications and only 10% (1 patient) had an unfavorable evolution.
Conclusions: Treatment with hydroxyapatite grafts and bone grafts showed be a good alternative in the treatment of various conditions of bone system in the patients so require.
