ABSTRACT
The angiomyolipoma is a benign tumor usually located in kidney, being the head and neck presentation extremely rare. We report a case in a
58 years old male patient, who presents a lump in the right ear with a year of evolution, without apparent cause, not painful, progressive growth
without added cochlear or vestibular symptomathology. Image studies shows a heterogeneous density lesion, quantified in 85 UH, which
reinforces partially to dye, rest of the study normal. The patient undergo surgical resection of the lesion, histopathology study reports round-lobed,
soft, tumor covered by white fibrous tissue, after cut notes yellow color with violet areas, final histopathology report of angiomyolipoma. The
treatment of choice is surgical removal.
