Diaphragmatic Hernia, Aapropos of a Case

ABSTRACT

Diaphragmatic hernias have many causes, can be congenital or acquired, acquired hernias include rare presentation giant paraesophageal hernias usually observed in elderly patients, which may present asymptomatic or present as an severe illness. We report the case of a woman of 89 years of age who was admitted with acute abdomen and after radiographic findings and CT was diagnosed giant paraesophageal hernia.
