ABSTRACT
Jacques Lacan recognize as a character who revolutionized psychoanalysis to promote a return to Freud. That return was marked by disciplines such as philosophy, linguistics, anthropology, even mathematics. The complex and personal style Lacan left deep impression on those who heard him personally, as well as those that we approach him through his body production acquired publications. A text of Lacan essential to dabble in the mysteries and difficulties of psychoanalytic practice, is that is called Writings. To him we mean now, placing some of the vicissitudes experienced by being translated into Spanish in Mexico during the decade of the seventies of the last century, following the initiative of Armando Suárez. We recognize that the presence of this publication in the Spanish language is essential, as it represented an instrument of dissemination and training for those of us interested in psychoanalytic discipline. It was also the occasion for questioning soon appeared that we consider beneficial. One such questioning took the form of a text written by Marcelo Pasternac. We return here some of their arguments to illustrate the controversy over the Spanish translation of the Writings.REFERENCES
