ABSTRACT
The interaction between the concepts "to drop" and "let yourself drop" in the elderly as well as the knowledge of the causes and consequences of these facts are fundamental in the prevention of porous fractures. Therefore, the aim of this work is to show the different factors that, acting on the osteomyoarticular system, lead to drops and cause these types of fractures and what to do to avoid them. It is concluded that, neither drop nor let yourself drop, is not a goal but elements of our life journey that make us be older, but freer.
