ABSTRACT
Case report: An 82-year-old female presented with an asymptomatic red plaque, 3.5 ´ 2.5 cm, on her left breast of 10 years evolution. Clinical evaluation and mastography were normal. The patient was submitted to surgical resection with the presumptive diagnosis of Bowen’s disease. The histopathological report confirmed a squamous cell carcinoma in situ. During a literature review, only two similar cases were identified.Conclusion: Epidermal Bowen’s disease of breast is an uncommon entity but with similar clinical signs as in other anatomical areas.
