ABSTRACT
Urticaria is a frequent disease with a 20% prevalence in the general population. The local effects of nutritional variation, inflammation, lymphatic drainage, toxin production and physical damage, can cause a number of skin disorders and its annexes. Each parameter can be affected by a systemic disease or a neoplastic process. Curth described two essential criteria developed in paraneoplastic syndromes: the first is that the dermatosis develops only after the presentation of malignancy, the second is that both malignant dermatoses follow a parallel course, where in the complete disappearance of cancer results in the disappearance of the dermatosis and in cancer recurrence there is recurrence of dermatoses. The most common are: malignant acanthosis nigricans, sign of Leser-Trélat, calloused palms, acquired ichthyosis, palmar-plantar keratoderma syndrome and Bazex. We found a significant correlation between intraabdominal neoplasms and Hodgkin lymphomas, so it is very important to perform a comprehensive diagnostic protocol, since in many cases the identification of the primary cause is difficult, due to the high degree of malignancy prognosis is very quiet.
