Pathophysiology of oral pain: an updated overview of the subject

ABSTRACT
The current basic knowledge of oral pain pathophysiology is stated, in order to improve
the quality of teaching and comprehensive dental care to the patient with this
condition, which is an emergency and one of the most frequent reasons to visit a
dental clinic.
