ABSTRACT
Introduction: Parkinson’s disease (EP) is a pathology, neurological that it deals with serious motive disorders and of the balance, altering the normal bosses of the macha. They present evolutionary complications that are modified very little by the farmacoterapia or the surgery, since it is the case of the blockades of the march (Freezeng), the shortening of the step, the hipocinesia, the reaction of straightening and others.
Material and methods: The use of caminadora to treat diseases neurological has increased in last time; in Parkinson’s disease there are reports that justify hiss, in this work there were evaluated 12 carrying patients of disease of Parkinson idiopática in intermediate and advanced stadium, with punctuations of II.5 the IVth in the scale of Hoehn and Yarh, eight of masculine them, and four feminine ones, two scales were applied to him standardized internationally to measure motive disorders and of the balance (UPDRS, and TINNETI), to the beginning of the treatment, and on having finished (LEIS) realized the tests standardized of the laboratory of evaluation psicomotriz.
Results: They received training every day in the mat of march for three to four weeks of ascending form according to the tolerance and the individualides of every patient, the preliminary results allow to demonstrate an improvement in the bosses of march of these patients, with a significant reduction in the different controls evaluated by the scales applied.
Conclusion: there is demonstrated that this method of treatment can be incorporated into the program neurorrestaurativo of the CIREN for the treatment of the disorders of the march and balance in Parkinson’s disease.
