ABSTRACT
We present a case of a 30 years-old man who four years before had a non-treated tumour in right maxillary sinus. Afterwards, he begins with subacute neurological features with headache; complex partial seizures secondarily generalized which led to status epilepticus and cognitive dysfunction. MRI showed multiple lesions in frontal lobes. The histological diagnosis of the biopsy of maxillary sinus mucosa concluded non-Hodgkin lymphoma, so the lesions demonstrated in cranial MRI were diagnosed as metastasis. Previous reports inform less than 5% of metastasis to central nervous system from non Hodgkin lymphoma infiltrating leptomeninges and sparing brain parenchyma. For the contrary, this case has a severe involvement of frontal lobes, reason to present the case.REFERENCES
