ABSTRACT
In accordance with Ardila’s target-article (2010), the present
paper provides comments on the dangers of considering
“psychologies” rather than a unified psychology. It is argued
that the connection that unites the various sub disciplines is
the study of behavior in its broadest sense and their method
of study. This paper also discusses some false dichotomies
that generate disputes as well as other ways to systematize
the study of psychology. It is concluded with a scheme to
integrate the research process in psychology and its applied
areas.
