ABSTRACT
Pyogenic liver abscess is an entity whose main causes are biliary manipulation, diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease
and systemic infections, its main symptom is pain in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen, fever, and sometimes jaundice,
the diagnosis is based on history, USG and CT, treatment usually percutaneous drainage, but when it fails it takes laparoscopic or
open drain. A case of a 51 year old female with liver abscess secondary to renal abscess.
