ABSTRACT
Cervical ectopic pregnancy is extremely rare, approximately less than 1% of all ectopic pregnancies. Its etiology is not clear yet.
However, there are reports of associations with chromosomal abnormalities and a history of damaging procedures such as
endometrial tissue incision cesarean section, intrauterine procedures and fertilization in vitro. We describe the case of a 34-yearold
woman, who has vaginal bleeding and 8.6 weeks pregnant with abnormal implantation within the endocervical canal and
embryonic life which gives expectant management without success.
