ABSTRACT
The acute appendicitis is the firts cause of surgical acute abdomen, its frequency is predominant in the age group of 10 to 30 years old, its diagnosis is clinical been doing by complete clinic history and a good physical exploration. Classically there are described the evolution of symptoms but under special circumstances an atypic presentation may appear as is in pregnant women, children and elderly so that the importance of the knowledge of the anatomy, physiopathology and evolution of sickness to reject all the differential diagnoses being supported in the conventional laboratory and cabinet studies to give the opportunely treatment to diminish the morbidity and mortality of the patient. In the pre and post operatory there most be covered the principal germens depending of the stage of the sickness where the predominant bacteria of the anaerobes is the B. fragilis and of the aerobes E. coli.
