ABSTRACT
Due to the influence of the skin’s microorganisms, the percentage of endocarditis by placed pacemakers appears between 1-7%. Literature is reviewed taking as guideline the case from a masculine patient of 62 years old who presented endocarditis of the pacemaker’s cable later to ventricular blockade of possible ischemic origin.
