ABSTRACT
Background: High-grade cervical intraepithelial lesions are recommended to perform epidemiological studies and case reports according to the Mexican Official Norm 014. . The guidelines of the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology suggested in the post treatment of CIN 2-3 perform HPV DNA testing or annual or semiannual cytology alone or a combination of cytology with colposcopy every six months. Objective and Methods: Report management and clinical course of five patients CIN 2 + from colposcopy Unit of General Hospital of Zapopan and international literature review. We applied the recommendations of current guidelines. Results: The frequency of residual lesion increases when there is a greater extent of lesion, age above 30 years and endocervical involvement. Conclusions: The cytological screening and colposcopic semiannual and annual testing of HPV DNA confer a safe and reliable monitoring of CIN 2 + post cervical conization.REFERENCES
