ABSTRACT
The conceptual model of Virginia Henderson allows, through nursing assessment, to identify needs in a person affected with congenital aortic stenosis, in this particular case study, problems were detected with the need for oxygenation, safety/security, hygiene, nutrition and hydration, rest and sleep, elimination, mobility and communication. Based on these changes, established a specialized care plan that describes the interventions for each of the diagnoses identified with an orientation to the recovery of the independence of the individual.
