Mucormicosis Endocarditis.

ABSTRACT
We present the first case of mucormycosis endocarditis diagnosed in our hospital, in which the clinical evolution was
severe and rapidly lethal. The autopsy revealed the fungus within the myocardial muscle. With histopathological evidence, being
the first case in northwestern Mexico, we emphasize the importance of performing as many as possible clinical cardiological tests to
evaluate the magnitude of myocardial damage and other hearth malfunctions that might affect hemodinamic status and consider
fungal etiology.
